If you want acting that will put you to sleep, go watch Superman Returns. Cavil has been hampered by weak writing and bad creative decisions and direction in the DCU. I was very interested in his return, because I think with the right director and the right scripts, he could have led DCU to dominance this decade, especially as MCU fades. But in the end, it seems that Gunn and crew believe that the only way to salvage DCU is with a full reboot. That's understandable, DCU was mostly bad, bad, bad. Gunn wants to make his own original mark, not try to fix what has come before. [/quote]
