OP you could try taking the side of the crib off and putting a little potty next to her bed so she can just get out and do it quickly and then hopefully back to sleep. I definitely wouldn't make a habit of something where you're turning on any lights at all and reading books in the middle of the night. Maybe there is some music you can turn on for her as she's falling back asleep? This is a tough one! I would want to follow her lead since she's doing it on her own but it makes other sleep things more difficult.[/quote]
