Do you spring these ideas on him the morning of? He may have an idea of what he’d like to do. What about having a weekly planning meeting? On Sunday nights, my spouse and I go over the schedule for the week—work schedules, evening meetings, kids schedules, pick ups and events. What about planning ahead? [/quote]

I ask the day off, the day before, the week before, the month before. It is always the same.
