They are not going to GS and working as bankers…they are going to their IT departments and writing code for new financial products.  They have a much better work-life balance.  Some may write code on trading desks, but the top Ibanks are specifically trying to lure kids who may otherwise want to head to Silicon Valley.  The hedge fund CS kids probably have worse hours.[/quote]
