I usually call the nurse line whenever my kids have any symptom that's concerning me to get a clear flowchart of when to bring the child to the doctor, which it sounds like you've already done (three weeks of cough or other symptoms developing).

My 1-year-old has a similar cough right now and he's in daycare because I burned through all my PTO with RSV (with fever), a feverish cold, and norovirus last month.  It sucks, but I will say this has been an unusually bad fall for us -- my 3yo was rarely sick before she turned 2, maybe because before that all the pandemic restrictions meant there weren't as many viruses circulating even at daycare.  Or my 1yo is more susceptible -- all kids handle the group care onslaught of diseases differently.  Hope your baby feels better soon![/quote]
