Right?! Typically the wineries and breweries known as family-friendly also don’t attract the party bus crowd.

Vanish, Flying Ace, and Harvest Gap are breweries in Loudoun, but serve wine and cider, too. They all have play structures, room to run, and decent food. Vanish gets especially crowded on days like today. I have been many times to each and have never seen drunk parents and very few drunk adults, period. DH and I rarely drink, but these are great places to meet up with friends.

If you’re set on a winery, I think Bleu Frog in Leesburg is a gem. Doesn’t get crazy busy and it’s easy to sit off to the side to let your kids run. Last time they had a digging pile with trucks and a soccer field with balls, but it’s been a while. They do have a few food items, and you can bring your own. The breweries above  don’t allow outside food. [/quote]
