The Republican candidate is basically running against the Democrats on a no CRT line, while the Democrat Nick Gothard in college was very supportive of equity and helped start an equity committee of the student council, alongside resigning his position because he was in the room as someone said negative things about the Black Student Union that were considered racist.

This is completely false. The Dems are running Gothard and Repubs are running Polifko. Hoyler is running as an Independent because he was far too centrist to be endorsed by either party, I pray to God he wins. [/quote]

Officially, they are supposed to be non-partisan.  But it is very clear based on the messaging and endorsements of both Gothard and Polifko that isn’t the case.  I, too, hope Hoyler wins. [/quote]
