Now I’m wondering if it’s possibly causing a mild allergic reaction and making his throat itch or something? And that’s causing the increased coughing? It could also just be pure coincidence with the timing of his latest cold. I know I should just call the nurse line, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this. For what it’s worth, there’s a family history of penicillin allergy so I’m on heightened alert. He’s not had any typical hives/skin rash outbreaks.[/quote]
