OP Here: 10:46 - A lot of people add tomato powder to store bought tomatoes to make them taste better, flavor boost in soups, stews or chili, etc. Lovely can do attitude you've got there! 11:04 - It definitely tasted like salsa. Looking at the ingredients tomato powder is an ingredient, but I suspect it also has the basic seasonings in salsa (onion/garlic powder, paprika, cumin, etc). 11:16 - With you there! 12:17 - Smart, however they do list "Natural Flavorings, Herb and Spices" which is very non-specific. 12:21 - Thanks for the suggestion! This will very much be a trial and error lol, but I cook with all these spices almost daily so at least I don't have to buy anything new.
No they don't. I have never seen powdered tomato at regular grocery stores. Perhaps you can order it off Amazon, or a international foods store... But if you have to source multiple ingredients from the internet and be running to speciality stores for ingredients, is it really worth it? For trail mix?
OP Here - I don't have to source them. The only thing I was contemplating sourcing is the Flavor God seasoning. I do have a wide variety of seasonings on hand including powdered tomato, which I did get from my local grocery store.
