The person who wrote this understands very little about VA disability.  A veteran can be 100% without being "so disabled that he or she requires round-the-clock care to stay alive."  In addition, a veteran can have a 100% rating and still be able to ride a bicycle - ratings include psychological disabilities, brain injuries, and many other things that might not prevent physical activity even with a 100% rating.  There can also be a combined 100% rating from multiple disabilities.  The excerpts from the court decision don't include his overall rating and therefore may not be relevant.

Sorry but you’re just making a lot of assumptions and gross misrepresentations.

A 100% rating is a severe disability. To qualify a TBI or psychological/psychiatric disability as 100% requires prior hospitalization and a pretty serious diagnosis that would prevent someone from ever being considered a productive worker. [/quote]

I also never said that 100% isn't severe. You can also have a 100% psych disability without a prior hospitalization, although the symptoms for a 100% rating are very severe. What "gross misrepresentation" did I make?   The article had many things that are incorrect that I pointed out.  There are some people with 100% ratings who can ride a bike. As a Vet you are not going to get a 100% psychological disability without the level of severity that necessitates hospitalization. Maybe you were unlucky not to get inpatient treatment.

Instead of clearing it up she feigns indignity and unsuccessfully tries to present as a victim. She’s really bad at this and her thread reeks of someone caught red handed.
