A pashmina, shawl or large scarf is a nice thing to have. Doubles as a blanket.

Something that doesn't wrinkle, or hides the wrinkles well. Something that resists or hides stains, as you never know what might get spilled on you.

Pack a tube of hand/face lotion in your carry-on. The air is very dry, and lotion can make you feel so much better.[/quote]
