At least they remain at school this year. Last year we had to charge them nightly at home and the K teacher asked them to practice “reading” (i.e. look at the pictures and guess) the dreadful benchmark “books” on there.[/quote At our ES, they encouraged (pushed!!) kids to read on Epic versus reading actual book. What the actual F? I would much rather my 7 year old flip through an actual book. And the games are crap. [/quote]
