I've only gotten hair growth where there was hair before. I started noticing results after a couple of months.  It absolutely has worked for me.  When I pull my hair into a ponytail, I can absolutely feel the difference.  There's a lot more hair!  FWIW - I'm in my mid-50s. HTH!
