I will warn you that you might find yourself sticker shocked at the price.  Assisted living is quite pricey and typically insurance doesn't cover it.  Also, it isn't covered by Medicare or Medicaid.  Years ago when I worked as a social worker (we are talking like 20 plus), the cost was about $115 a day and I'm sure it is much higher now.  But, there will likely be a wide variation in prices.
