BCC has an IB program whereas Whitman has only APs. BCC has an open campus for lunch. Whitman doesn’t. BCC is located within walking distance of downtown Bethesda and nearby restaurants. Not so for Whitman. Whitman is a pressure cooker academically. I am guessing BCC is similar that way.
This is all right except maybe the last bit. BCC is somewhat more economically diverse and is generally considered a little less of a pressure cooker. My kid had a good experience at BCC and I was happy with the education they got (and the college they ended up at).
