I thought it was Maximillian and his date.  I liked the season well enough.  In the scenes where the emperor was supposed to be charming, I found him compelling, and I felt like the show did a better job of making Sissi funny and likeable even when she was being potentially reckless than HOD does.[/quote]

HOD = House of the Dragons.  I find Rhaenyra to be unlikeable as a character whereas I find Sissi likeable - I think it would have been possible to make Rhaenyra funnier or wittier in a way that would have made HOD better.  (I am not up to date - I assume I will watch all of the episode at some point, but it hasn't engaged me). and I stand corrected - it definitely isn't Maximillian's date so the scene does seem very out of place.[/quote]
