They’re not medical exams. The person doing the screening is a member of the school staff, not a stranger. (I do not believe for one second that your actual pediatrician is conducting the hearing or vision screening, but rather a member of the staff with whom your kid has had no prior interaction.) And it’s not happening surrounded by their peers. [/quote]
