I do not get why people are snobby about Lebanese Taverna.  I've been going there since the 80s.  They are a long-standing DC local business that has really invested in the community.  Are the cafes a little bit strip-mall in nature?  Yes, and it's great that they've made lebanese food convenient and accessible to so many people.  I think their stuff is really tasty and so much better than cava for a strip mall option.  But go to the original in WP.  [/quote]  By WP, do you mean Westover?
