My insurance was sneakily inching up and when they tried to jack it up almost double in a single year, I called them up to cancel. They were suddenly willing to lower the payment. I told them if they were so willing to lower the payment when I called to complain, why did they raise it so much in the first place? I now have an insurance carrier that has excellent service and does not engage in the practice of raising rates excessively. If they start to do this, you can be sure that I will cancel and find a new carrier.[/quote]
