Interestingly, Dad was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of years ago despite being in great health, always slightly underweight, with a healthy diet and lots of physical activity for someone his age. Fingers crossed that treating the diabetes might end up having a protective effect on the brain as well. [/quote]
