After they run through their initial lists and the feeding frenzy quiets down there is definitely a second round to fill holes but usually not at the top programs and possibly not at schools your player would want to attend outside of playing lacrosse, is is harder to make a great match in the second round, obviously, as there are still many more interested players than slots left.  You can also check a school on Inside Lacrosse recruiting to see exactly when the previous year players committed to get an idea of how many were after the fall but every year is obviously different.
