But when it comes to foreign language, many native speakers have diplomas from their own countries and it's a burden on them to navigate the US system, which they are not necessarily familiar with, only to add US credentials that are usually not as rigorous as their original ones. So I feel MCPS needs to make an exception for foreign language instructors. Otherwise they might end up drawing from a smaller pool of non-native speakers.[/quote]
