Oh wow. So does that mean there are nationalists in India trying to reunite India and Pakistan? And/or push Muslims out of India (and Pakistan)?

As for here and in S.A., was his advocacy just for rights of Indians/Hindus or for Indians/Hindus to be seen as superior somehow to Adrians (eg, Black Africans, Afrikaans)? I’m assuming that these nationalists (if not Ghandi) see Hinduism as a pre-req for being authentically Indian, but maybe not?[/quote] I think he only advocated for racial laws to not apply to Indians in South Africa but his argument was that the South African laws shouldn’t apply to British subjects Abd black Africans would have fallen under that category too.
