I believe boiled peanuts are soft like beans.[/quote] Boiled peanuts are very tender — also salty and amazing. The shell will usually still have some salt water within it. So good. Last time I had ones that knocked my socks off was a roadside stand of sort (fire, kettle drum, ma & pa) in the hills of Georgia. You can also just make them yourself. Boil longer than you think necessary.[/quote]
