I don't earn a lot of money but I did get each of my kids one. They each got their iPod Touch at age 7. They primarily use it to play chess (to store their games) and to practice chess puzzles. They also have music and library books (mostly audio books but some ebooks) on their iPods. They occasionally play other games such as Angry Birds, Where's My Water, etc., on their iPods as well.

And no, I do not have my own iPod Touch. I have no use or need for one.
