I'm not sure if this is going to help, but as I read your question, the first thing that popped into my head was that you need to love whatever it is you will be doing and don't settle.  Don't jump just to get back into it.

The cards that I pulled were the Oracle Cards "Wisdom", "The Dog"(loyalty and belonging), and the tarot cards The 3 of Cups, 8 of Swords in reverse, and the Queen of Wands.

These cards actually play into what I initially felt.  It is important to take you time and plan things out so you do not make any rash decisions.  I feel like in the past you may have been eager to please and that could have led to people taking advantage.  You need to find a path that leads  you to people who value your loyalty.  I feel you need to let go of anything that may have happened in the past because that will allow you to grow and work to your full potential.  You need a workplace where you can find like minded individuals.

So while this does not directly answer what you were looking for, I think the energy surrounding the next steps is that of taking your time and taking no less than what you deserver because of how much you give.
