HS kids don’t wear coats. Personally I’d wait until after school starts and let your kid tell you what they think will work best. If kids don’t use their lockers there can be a whole lot more to carry around than their hoodie - instruments, things for sports practice, etc. it’s hard to anticipate needs without knowing what they will actually need to carry. FWIW, mine carries two backpacks and uses a locker. [/quote]
