I watch the Cape Cod threads carefully and participate, giving what I considered to be knowledgeable advice. I'm always stunned when you delete information that's important for tourists to know, because you make a judgment about an area you now say you've never been. Your site, your rules, I get it, but I wonder what the point is.
I don't know if you folks bother to read earlier posts in this thread, but I thought I explained it very clearly. While some posters may authentically be interested in sharks, there is one poster who believes any post about Cape Cod is part of an organized campaign to harass her. There are other posters who attempt to antagonize her for entertainment. They have even given her a nickname. So, a lot of those posts get removed. As I understand from the poster above, if you go to a beach in Cape Cod, there will likely be wall-to-wall shark warnings with helicopters flying above and special apps to provide information about sharks sightings. Given those circumstances, anyone who needs to rely on DCUM to learn about sharks will probably be eaten regardless. In the meantime, nobody can be bothered to offer advice about where to get a cup of coffee. The only information anyone will provide about Cape Cod is about sharks. It's a very strange situation.
