I think there is just a lack of understanding of communication science: just throwing up a sign isn't a strategy[/quote] No white candidates do this, so I think it was a innovation by one Black candidate at some point a few years ago that most Black candidates copy now. I am not sure it’s as much communication science as knowing how to campaign and build support. Dropping signs everywhere is a lot easier than canvassing. [/quote]
