We know someone who was admitted to Northeastern but is spending freshman year at their CA campus. Can anyone tell me more about this? Is it an option or is it mandatory for some students?
They were accepted to NUBound, which is mandatory study abroad/mills college all of freshman year. Freshman are accepted to either Boston campus (typical experience), NUIn (fall semester abroad/other campus and move to Boston spring freshman year) or NUBOund (spend full first year abroad/at Mills college depending upon major and become a transfer student fall 2nd year). You can NOT switch and must attend the program you are admitted to.
