not sure I would say she provided care. She provided a roof over their head, nothing else. In-laws were in excellent health, did all the cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning and child care, driving kids to school and activities.

Not saying that is a great trade off for having your parents living in your house, but it's not like there was no benefit. [/quote]
