UChicago is selective but prestige wise it's not there yet. It seems like the admissions office at Chicago agrees because so many of its students are ED students. They know they can't compete. [/quote]

No, you're just delusional. UChicago takes 80% of its freshman class in the ED rounds. This artificially lowers the acceptance rate and lessons the effects of low RD yield. [/quote]
