But as a teacher who worked for an ex-music teacher principal, I will say that the feedback given to me during conferences was hollow at best and didn’t help me to improve. There a huge difference between being able to provide feedback that one might learn to give in a grad class, versus the feedback one would give when they have truly spent a career of actually doing the work. With ES being so focused on foundational reading and math skills, I just don’t understand why schools make promotions like this. [/quote]
