Man with my c section I was ready to go at like 3-4 weeks (from a desire perspective). So this is REALLY different person to person. I had three c's and with my first we did it at 5, second at 4, and third at 2 (I know this was very stupid don't do this!). I had really really horrible pregnancies though and getting the baby out honestly felt like I'd had cancer cured so I bounced back really fast. But honestly I mean I know that is bananas but there was no problems at all with the equipment, it was just about making sure your abdomen is comfortable and him being gentle. Get it girl!
Just also going to say this doesn't mean everyone is like this or that you should feel obligated to have sex if it is painful! But I think pp talking about going to a PT first is crazy. You don't even know if you have physical issues yet! Talk to your H, make sure he's going to go slow and that he cares about your experience of this moment and that he's prepared to stop if it doesn't go well. And then make sure you do a lot of foreplay and have lube on hand and don't get too attached to the finish line. Getting back on the horse I think is actually important mentally, because new moms you can often kind of totally lose sight of yourself as a sexual being, but it should be on YOUR terms, I feel like my PP wasn't clear enough about that. And you should never force yourself to do anything that hurts (that you don't want to do! haha).
