What kind of complications?
DP but I had complications that landed me back in the hospital. Severe complications. My c section hadn’t healed despite feeling fantastic. Also didn’t “work out” - only went for walks, albeit a couple miles at a time. Not.Worth.It.
How many weeks PP were you when you resumed exercise and injured yourself? Trying to figure out if I can resume walks at 4 weeks PP or truly need to wait 6 weeks. The 6 weeks sounds like a LONG time.
Your body has been through a trauma. You have a massive placenta sized wound in your abdomen that is bleeding internally and healing. Your surgeon cut through 5 layers of fascia and tissue and skin to cut your uterus. Hormones are crashing, nursing is being established as is milk supply, abs are separated and coming together, your body is processing anesthesia and fluids from delivery, healing from the catheter and spinal, adjusting to sleep deprivation, etc. 6 weeks is NOTHING to recover from that. Take it easy or you risk injuring yourself.
