What made the biggest difference for dh was really working his contacts both on linkedin, and any time he would find an appropriate open position, he would do loads of research to see if he had any contacts at the company in question.  But, having the cushion of the severance, made it MUCH easier to handle, both financially, and emotionally.  GL[/quote]
