[quote=Anonymous]I am in my third week of using Wen and just wanted to share some of my experiences for those looking to mix up their haircare routine. I was scared to go to a conditioner only type of system, the thought of not washing my hair weirded me out. My scalp has a tendency to get oily and my hair ends up quite limp without a thorough shampooing. I have found the key is making sure you rinse your hair for a good 1-2 minutes before applying the cleansing conditioner. My hair is literally squeaky clean after just rinsing. I noticed an immediate difference in how soft it felt after the first wash. The first week was a bit challenging, figuring out how much product my hair needs, making sure I massaged my scalp and left it on long enough. I had to mix up my shower routine to make the hair the first thing I wash vs my face, to give the conditioner longer to sit on my hair. What works for my fine/shoulder length/wavy hair is about 6-7 pumps total of product. If you think you have enough, add about two more pumps, THEN you have enough. :) I tried to divide in 4 sections per instructions, that's not working for me. I generally do 2 sections, the front & back or left & right. Make sure you get it all the way down to your roots and leave it on for 3-5 min. Longer or thicker hair may need more time. I also use the provided comb to get it all the way though my hair. Rinse for 1-2 min again. I then use about 1/2 pump as a leave in. I have noticed my hair takes longer to dry as it is holding on to more moisture. It used to be dry in about 10-15 min after coming out of the shower, now it isn't dry even 45 min later. There is still some frizz but I am trying to Lavender version next and it should help. Overall, there has been drastic improvement. The softness, the moisture, the ease of styling, it's all a major improvement. The breakage of hair, even after wearing in a ponytail, has reduced at least 70%. I have many "baby" hairs along my hairline on my forehead and I am now beginning to wonder if they are just hair that has never fully grown because it keeps breaking. As I continue to use the Wen system, I will take notice if they start getting longer vs remaining 1-2" long. I urge anyone looking to make a change to try it. I love it. My hair is softer than ever, I find myself running my hand through my hair just because it's so soft. QVC has a variety of options or you can order a starter kit on the Wen site. This is a program similar to Proactiv where they will keep sending and billing unless you call. I just called to change what is in my next shipment and not only did I get 20% off but the gentleman gave me another full size bottle to try of a different scent that is also supposed to be good for fine/limp hair.
