I’m not paying a deposit or ordering something sight unseen. Replacing an old minivan. [/quote] A few months ago we got a Mazda CX-9 Signature (top trim) for ~$2k under MSRP. There was absolutely wiggle room on the top trims at both Ourisman Mazda in Rockville and Koons in Silver Spring. With some of these dealers you just need to tell them "I'm not paying your market adjustment; do you still want to sell me the car?" and see if they'll play ball. Dealers are still figuring out this new world too. VW Atlas could be a pretty easy option, too. Just glancing around, there are many dealers in the area advertising below MSRP. Just call them before you go and ask if the prices are real or BS. [/quote]
