Not sure if it is still this way, but a lot of families in the neighborhood used to send their kids to St Bernadette’s.
+1 Most Woodmoor kids are at St. B’s. If your child is not there, you will feel left out a lot of the neighborhood feel.
I live in Woodmoor and I disagree. A large number of kids go to the public schools - enough that there are two separate busses from the neighborhood (one for one side of the neighborhood and one for the other side) taking them to Montgomery Knolls.
Hello fellow Woodmoron! I agree - there are plenty of public school kids in the ‘hood. I have one at Eastern and one at Blair and all of their friends are in the neighborhood. I think the St. B’s thing was true years ago, but not as much now.
Another Woodmoor resident here, with kids who have attended the public schools. There are large contingents of both public school kids and St. B's kids (and after toddler playgroups, we didn't intermingle much with the Catholic school families-- different sports leagues as well as academics, etc.).
