find a home day care provider in one of the zoned good schols
I think you also have to establish that you can't find daycare in your zone, or have some other unusual reason.
No you don't.
Maybe you don't have to, but it's in the instructions from FCPS: Parents or guardians must attach the Affidavit for Student Transfer Child Care Requests http://www.fcps.edu/dss/osp/StudentRegistration/studenttransfer/affidavit.pdf verifying the facts of the request and indicating the attempts the family has made to procure child care within the community of residence. The child care provider must be located within the requested school boundaries. Full-time, before and/or after school child care is needed for student transfer consideration. For help in locating child care visit the Fairfax County Office for Children, Child Care Central, at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/ofc/. http://www.fcps.edu/dss/osp/StudentRegistration/student-transfer/infofiles/Glossary.pdf
