Of course daycare would be cheaper. But we didn't want to rush our kids out the door in the mornings and worry about getting them packed up while also getting ourselves ready for work. We didn't want to be stressing and rushing out the door at the end of the work day to pick them up from daycare before getting fined or rushing home with a crying toddler because they're hungry for dinner. We didn't want them to only go to one or two nearby playgrounds to the daycare and maybe once a week have a field trip to the museum or zoo. It's just a completely different lifestyle. [/quote]
