Great point about public financing forcing Riemer to stay in the race.

Blair did fairly well in Silver Spring (less so downtown, but Silver Spring is a big place) last time and needs to do well there again. There’s a reason he’s the only candidate with an office in the eastern half of the county. [/quote]

I’m in silver spring (also not downtown) and plan to vote for Blair. FWIW, the Riemer supporters I know don’t consider Blair a credible Dem so I’m not sure they would vote for him even if Reimer dropped out.  They just seem to want a more YIMBY version of Elrich.[/quote]
