I hugged my 5yo today before her father took her to school. She said, “see you this afternoon, mommy!” I know there’s a tiny, tiny risk of anything happening to her, but we should not live in a world where it could happen at all. And the reality is that, in virtually every developed country, a mass shooting at a school is simply not something that happens. [/quote]
