The people I know who send their kids there are very socially conservative. Like the wives don’t work because the husbands think that their place is in the home, and the wives are on board with it. From the way they talk the wife sound very subservient to their husbands. They’re also extremely pro life. The school does seem to have strong academics but I imagine it’s a bit of a bubble and that kids are in for a bit of a shock when they get to college and are exposed to different viewpoints.
Yes, I am the PP who mentioned the Christian conservative neighbors that attend the school. This is exactly correct. The mom has posted many times on Instagram about a woman's place being in the home and posts very conservative memes/images. She has also mentioned that she wants her daughter to go to a Christian college to find a husband, not for any academics. It's very bizarre because the daughter seems strong academically and I've seen posts about her winning awards in school. It seems like a double standard. I doubt they read here but I don't want to add any more personal details in case they happen upon this post.
