I felt like he was under a microscope and not in a good way. Several of my friends were told to get their kids evaluated for fine motor or speech and after spending a nice chunk of change they found out their child's development was progressing appropriately. Early identification is important, but my sense was they had more "false positives" than other schools, but that could just be related to our own social circle who have kids at various schools.

One thing I find really helpful is when a director has a degree or multiple degrees in child development or education or something related to the job of directing a preschool and they can readily apply that knowledge. I also find it helpful if their love of children shines through.[/quote]
