How do you get in?
Seems like there are only two paths now- get in straight from college or be a veteran.
Just college degree or they look for more on resume?
It's going to be very difficult to get a job with the "best" agencies. Some places you can technically get an entry level position with a college degree, but there's going to be a lot of competition in metro areas. If you'll take something in a rural area where no one wants to live, you have a better chance. It also depends on your skills, and the opportunities in the private sector. For example, it sounds like the government has a hard time getting people for IT positions because they can make more in the private sector. Other jobs pay more in the government so those are very competitive.
