Americans are almost incapable of realizing other countries have interests similar to their own and act in similarly predictable ways.

What do you think would happen if China decided to install missile silos/garrison an army/etc etc in Mexico with the full cooperation of their government?  Actually, think is the wrong word.  What do you KNOW would happen?

Now look at Ukraine and Russia and see if you can put two and two together and work out how this entire situation could have [b]easily[/b] been avoided.[/quote]
