I've found myself fixating on how much I hate my home - the smallness, the constant noise due to no insulation etc. We're about a year away from affording the renovations and we'll be moving out for this period and renting somewhere nearby. But now I'm getting cold feet and wondering whether we should just sell and move to a distant suburb.

Daily life at the moment is hard. Small kids, lots of solo parenting, no family or paid help. It makes me wonder whether I'm focusing on the wrong thing. Selling up and moving house might be an expensive solution to the wrong problem? Anyone BTDT?

Get out and move on instead of dwelling! I recently moved and sold our home and could not be happier with the choice. [/quote]
