No wonder the Dems are going to lose big in the mid-terms. [/quote] Oh come on. It's not exactly far-fetched to think that a Democrat from Portsmouth is less likely to be a progressive. He probably wouldn't have been elected there if he were. From what I heard about this on the radio it does sound like Democrats from outside of northern VA may be wanting less progressivism and for moderates to have more of a voice. They know progressivism doesn't play too well outside of NoVA and maybe certain parts of Richmond and VA Beach/Hampton roads. Virginia is a sea of red outside of the cities and Blacksburg/Charlottesville.[/quote]
