[/quote] No, they have not been developed "well in advance"... at least not for the 20 years that I have been teaching in FCPS. But, until recently, they have been predictable. Spring break always the week before Easter, first day always the Tuesday after Labor Day, 4 day weekend with Election Day, etc. With all of the changes occurring with the calendar, they should definitely set it by at least Sept/Oct of the prior school year.[/quote]
